My boyfriend and I visited this brewery while we were in Nashville, since he's a big beer fan. I found beer tasting flight for 2 on Groupon for $20 dollars, and it included a tasting of 10 different flavors for each of us, so 20 in total. With the flight, we were given a booklet that outlined each beer and everything about it- as far as name, alcohol %, keynote ingredients/flavors, and regions that they are popular in. It was definitely a difderent experience for me but very enjoyable. I was able to learn a couple of things about beer, and also discovered my liking for stout. The atmosphere in this brewery is set up like a sports bar/restaurant, with a lot of tv's and a full bar. We ended up ordering wings and fries as our main meal, and also a basket of fish and chips (not pictured). Overall, the food was pretty good and we had a great time here enjoying the game.

A large group came in here for lunch and drinks this last weekend as part of my friend's Bachelorette Party weekend. The bride made reservations, but even with a group of 14ish, at 11am when they opened, we had the run of the place and our pick of where to sit. They had a private room set aside for us, but it was a bit small for our group and only had 12 seats anyway. We were invited to seat ourselves in the bar area at the high top tables, which we did to have the elbow room. The manager came out to greet us, congratulate the bride, and offer us a round on the house. Very generous and appreciated! I opted for the Pear Ginger Mule and it was just a bit different and very delicious! You can order off the menu, but they also have a lunch buffet. To make my life a little more simple, I opted for the buffet. The pizza was fine, the salad was ok. The buffet was fine. I left with a full belly. One of the ladies had discovered a Groupon that we purchased before coming here for a tasting of 10 beers for 2, and a branded growler, for $15. Unfortunately...half of their beers were tapped out. So there were only 5 beers on tap at the moment. It was offered that a second round of the five available beers could be brought out to round out the tasting. We asked if, instead, we could each get a pint of the beer that we liked the most. They happily obliged. But it was a little disappointing and not what we expected from the Groupon. But, we got our money's worth out of it. We got pretty great service from Ryan. We were a loud, large, rambunctious group, and he had a lot to juggle! When we first got there, we were the only ones he had to deal with for a while and it was easy peasy. But as the restaurant filled up with folks there to eat, drink, and watch sportsball, he also had to juggle being the drink-wrangler for all the other servers and tables. Getting out (separate) checks took a bit of a while and had a few snags. But that was to be expected, and it was all eventually worked out. A good place for decent pizza, large groups, and sportsball-ing.

I ordered the half-pound "hamburger" with American cheese. I was worried when the burger arrived at the table -- it looked bone dry and the slice of cheese (which cost $1 extra) didn't even span the entire patty. However, looks can be deceiving. The meat was flavorful and juicy, even though it was slightly more cooked than the requested medium well. The cheese, however, was lost for the most part. The combination of mayo and mustard added subtly to the overall flavor profile. I'm not exactly sure what type of bun was used, but it was delicious and was sturdy enough to hold everything together. If I have to choose between presentation and taste, I'm happy to go with the latter. I was torn between which side I would choose to accompany my burger, but I'm glad I went with the beer-battered onion rings. The greasy breading had just a hint of sweetness which resulted in a rather unique taste combination when paired with the onion. The service was good, but it took a while to be acknowledged at both the host stand and once we were seated. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by my meal and will gladly return to try some of the other items on the menu.
